Geologic Hazards Studies
Stormwater management is the effort to reduce the runoff of rainwater or melted snow into streets, lawns and other sites, and to remove pollutants. In developed areas, impervious surfaces such as pavement and roofs prevent rainwater from naturally soaking into the ground. If not captured, excess rainwater runs into storm drains, sewer systems and drainage ditches and can cause flooding, erosion, turbidity (or muddiness), sewer system overflow, and infrastructure damage.
Federal, state and local governments all require the implementation of measures to address these issues at new and existing job sites. RMA Group professionals are here to help navigate runoff regulations and ensure your measures are compliant.
Stormwater Management Plans
Our three-step Stormwater Management Plans (SWMPs) identify potential runoff pollution risks, provide site-specific best practices to reduce pollutants, and provide site managers with all necessary steps to comply with permitting and regulations throughout the construction process. Our SWMPs include site maps, BMP details, inspection and spill reports, remedial action charting, and all related waivers. See our complete Stormwater Management Services above.
